TODS CHRISTMAS PARTY

12th December 2009

A Christmas party was held at the Tenterden Town Hall on Saturday 12th December.  The evening was hosted by Barry Thomas, the food organised by Michael, Angela, Fiona & Gillian.

We were entertained by offerings from most of the assembled members.  There was music, monologue, humorous sketches and even a one-act play.

Tenterden Recreation Ground

Once again we were  asked to mount our now usual Smash the China stall.

The usual Committee members turned up and set up the stall and with help from a few members they ran a very successful  afternoon.

They raised just over £270 (which included £60 of sales from Stevie’s Fudge)

Which will be donated to Demelza House.

A very successful evening was attended by about 80 members and friends on

It was an excellent evening with some very, very good food and a very enjoyable play.  Where else could members and friends get such a good evening for just £6 a head.  We look forward to the next one  !!!!
