Established in July 1958, TODS was created through the merger of the Tenterden Players and The Masquers. Since then, TODS has been dedicated to delivering top-notch productions to audiences in Tenterden and its surrounding areas as a longstanding member of the Kent Drama Association (KDA) and the National Operatic & Dramatic Association (NODA).

We present three sensational shows every year, including a musical in February and two plays in the summer and autumn, featuring a mix of comedies, dramas, and revues.

Unfortunately, our usual venue, Tenterden Town Hall, is undergoing refurbishments, so we’ve had to find temporary locations for our productions. We’ve used Smarden Charter Hall for “Bedroom Farce” and “On Broadway.” In September 2024, we presented “Ladies’ Day” at the Barn Theatre, Smallhythe, to sold-out audiences.

Our February 2025 musical will be at The Sinden Theatre, Homewood School. We can’t wait to return to our beloved Tenterden Town Hall once the refurbishments are finished.
