From the playwrite of Road and The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, TODS are proud to present Bed by Jim Cartwright as our Autumn production! Seven elderly people share a vast bed, to dream, remember and reflect on a long past. Exploring the time between bedtime and dreamy sleep, this surreal play is dominated by memories that keep each character awake at night and infiltrate their dreams, haunted by their past and their present.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is open to all TODS members and members of the public. This forms a platform for members and non-members to voice their opinions on how TODS functions, what they think we’re doing well and non so well on, and how we could improve in the coming year – as well as enjoy some wine and nibbles amongst TODS friends! The AGM will also host the elections for the TODS Committee 2019-2020. From May, all members will be open to nominate other members to stand for the following committee positions:

KDA Awards Evening

Traditionally, our May play is entered into the Kent Drama Association Full Length Play Festival and this year is no exception. We will be entering Habeas Corpus by Alan Bennett, with David waters directing this promiscuous farce. Each year, the award ceremony for the festival is hosted by a participating society. this year’s awards will be hosted by our neighbours Woodchurch Players.
