During one of our committee meetings when it became apparent that we COULD realistically start preparing to bring back “LIVE” Theatre to Tenterden. The hunt was on for what would be our first production, as a result we decided to re-arrange our season to accommodate the still uncertain times. So we thought why not push back our usual February Musical slot to June, that way we would have time to audition and rehearse such a big production and it would provide an opportunity for people to become more comfortable with returning to theatre having participated in a successful vaccination programme. Would hopefully turn out in droves to the Sinden Theatre to watch the Musical. Which is always more expensive to produce.
In our usual spring slot, we decided to make our first production after two years, a comedy. We wanted to start our season with a fun, uplifting series of comedies. And so our Chair suggested, CONFUSIONS and the rest, as they say, is history.
